Since 1981, Obria Northern California (formerly RealOptions) has served communities across Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. With five licensed medical clinics in San Jose, Oakland, and Redwood City, they offer high-quality, holistic care to women, men, students, and families—regardless of insurance status.
After affiliating with The Obria Group in 2017 and expanding through a 2021 merger, this dedicated team has continued to grow its reach and impact, providing services that address the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
Leading with Faith and Vision: Meet Valerie Hill
At the heart of Obria Northern California’s mission is Valerie Hill, CEO and longtime advocate for life-affirming healthcare. Valerie began her journey as a volunteer in post-abortion healing and stepped into full-time ministry in 2007. By 2010, she had taken on the role of CEO, helping lead the organization through transformational growth.
With a degree in Biblical Studies and nearly 40 years of marriage to her husband, Jerry, Valerie brings deep faith, wisdom, and compassion to her leadership. Her vision has helped RealOptions become a trusted name in Bay Area healthcare, offering expanded services and greater access to thousands of patients each year.
“In 2024, we added an in-clinic grief specialist and bilingual reproductive loss online support groups,” Valerie shared. “Our goal is to meet pexople where they are and walk alongside them through life’s most challenging moments.”
