That \u201cDo Not Disturb\u2019 sign has never been so relevant.\u00a0 Don\u2019t be afraid to let others know when and where you would like to be alone.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Let others know how important this alone time is for you. \u201cI\u2019ll be more fun once I have some time to myself.\u201d\u00a0 Give a time frame if you have one.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Communicate your need to be alone with others in a positive way. \u201cI love being with you, but feel I need some space to be myself right now.\u201d\u00a0 Reassure them that it is about your needs, not about them.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Build alone time into your daily routine and identify it. \u201cI\u2019m going to run, walk, journal, create, listen to music, etc\u2026and be by myself for now.\u201d Explain different people have different ways of dealing with a crisis, and this is what you need to be healthy.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Take heart!
